**Why is this important?**
Clichés, before they became clichés, generally start off as powerful philosophies that leaders and creatives have used to inspire people and add wide-ranging impact through their work. With time, they become repetitive and tiring. In my personal journey, I have discovered that if we let go of the negative connotations associated with them and learn to use them the way they were intended to be used originally – they can enable us to “do cool, and not just sound cool.”

Being a great Product Manager involves constant learning, but more than that – applying this learning at the right moments during the job. PMs, by design, need to drive clarity in ambiguity and make decisions that no one is willing to make. While there is a lot of content about being a great PM, a set of few personal frameworks that resonate with you the most can enable you to invoke what you have learned through experience and research with precision and efficiency.

In this talk – I will share my personal framework – “clichés” – that I have adopted from my mentors and leaders and through my own experience at Microsoft and Shopify.

**Why me?**
I am experienced enough to help new and aspiring PMs in their journey while new enough to not blindly accept existing PM practices as dogma and challenge them as I find my own voice as a product leader. This talk will help new PMs and aspiring PMs build their own Product Management style while it will enable experienced PMs to either strengthen their own philosophies or challenge them to pave the way for new ones.
