In celebration of International Women’s Day, KOHO is happy to host a Women Who Code meetup on March 5. The meetup will provide an opportunity to meet, connect, and learn. Join us to celebrate, empower and inspire!

At this event, you will be able to learn about whether or not to learn GO programming. We will dive deep into the Pros and Cons of using it. In addition, we will also be talking about how to navigate through difficult professional situations and grow to the person you have always been dreaming of.

Rayhaneh is a software engineer in the payments team, where she works on developing, maintaining and improving KOHO’s payment rails. She is passionate about separation-of-concerns principle in software design. Her background is in software development for numerical simulations in aerospace engineering. She is a Queen’s University alumni where she earned her PhD degree in 2015. Her current favourite book is “Quiet”. In her spare time, she loves to hike, camp in the backcountry and travel.

Vicki Thompson ????
(Executive Coach at KOHO)

Vicki is a Career and Life Coach, supporting leaders in uncovering their purpose, defining their leadership brand, career planning, and navigating difficult professional and personal situations. She works with emerging talent, senior executives and people leaders to support them in their growth and development.

She has 10+ years of business experience primarily in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry in a variety of Marketing, Sales, and Category Management roles, with a demonstrated history of building high performing teams.
