Bootstrapping a business is the art of getting that business to the point that it produces cash for you while spending minimal cash yourself.

Bootstrapping is the opposite of the classic Silicon Valley strategy of raising massive amounts of capital before building a product or obtaining customers. It is the underdog path – starting at the bottom and fighting your way up, instead of asking someone to pull you up.

In this talk, Brad will discuss what he has learned about bootstrapping AI companies. How do you produce cash as quickly as possible? How do you get customers on board before you have any algorithm or product? How do you inspire people to work alongside you when you can’t pay them? Brad will discuss these issues in context with some of the new AI products he is working on.
