Artificial Intelligence and Data Science both pay well and this has caused a lot of people to race to acquire its skills through any means possible; often using MOOCs or Kaggle. Unfortunately, being simply a modeler means you are a one-trick pony and will not have a very promising and flourishing start to your career (or career transition). We talk through the lack of production engineering skills that most Data Scientists miss out on and why they are important (at least currently, but likely into the future as well).
