Patti Wilson Design is an award-winning interior design firm located in the GTA. We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing + Social Media Specialist who can enhance our brand and build a strong online presence through our various social media platforms. Role and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy

Build and manage social media calendars and schedules

Be a leader in social media content creation focusing on increasing social media presence and driving traffic to our website

Develop and administer social media content that is engaging to users and creates an interactive relationship between consumers and our interior design firm

Engage and communicate with online audience by monitoring and responding to users in a way that’s relatable and understandable

Create and develop engaging text, image and video content

Work closely with the Principal Designer to develop social media campaigns that help to achieve the firm’s marketing goals

Monitor and track analytics across all platforms, evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns across social channels and provide reports and updates

Research audience preferences, discover current trends, and suggest creative ways to attract more clients and promote our brand

Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels

Create well-written, engaging and shareable blogs that provide value to the reader, built with strong Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles

Maintain website to accurately reflect brand and update as needed

Analyse, review and implement changes to the website to improve SEO

Coordinate the content collection, layout and distribution of an external digital newsletter and ensure timely distribution

Responsible for email list management of the external newsletter and providing regular updates to external distribution lists to ensure they are updated and compliant with CASL regulations.

Creation and design of dedicated email campaigns

Attend construction sites and photoshoots to photograph and video ongoing and finished projects for social media and marketing purposes

Manage image and asset libraries

Perform other related duties as required or assigned to support the overall goals of the firm

Identify key stakeholders, influencers and media to develop and maintain partnerships that benefit the brand.

Qualifications and Skills:

Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools

Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats

Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills

Superior oral and verbal communication skills

Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask

Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Ability to explain complex social media data in an understandable way

Interest in interior design and decorating would be considered an asset

Education and Experience Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Marketing Management, Advertising, Communications or similar

3+ years’ experience in social media marketing or content development

Experience with MailChimp, Gain, WordPress, HootSuite, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Platform (Docs, Forms, Drive)

Experience and knowledge of website improvements to optimize SEO rankings

Experience with updating and maintaining web content on Wix (or similar platform)

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent digital media editing tools an asset

Photography/Videography skills would be considered an asset

1-2 years of related work experience in e-commerce or online marketing preferred.
