Murex app support

JOB DESCRIPTION –

  • Experience in all Murex modules supported FX area, Unix SQL, production support exp, ITIL process, a combination of Murex and prod support will be the best fit.
SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • ProvideL1/L2 Application Support /Production support for FX-based applications.
  • MUREX Application knowledge
  • Production support skills and experience
  • ITIL processes knowledge and experience
  • Ideal candidate with min 3 yrs production support experience in a financial domain
  • Technology: UNIX/LINUX, SQL, Database concepts, Scripting language
  • Experience with any of the Service management tools such as ServiceNow
  • Experience with any of the Application/Infrastructure monitoring tools: ITRS Geneos, Splunk,
  • Experience with ITIL processes, Planning and execution of DR tests, COB, etc
  • Experience in handling releases/Deployments, risk analysis, the impact analysis of any change affecting the application.
  • Batch processing experience needed. Experience supporting both Data heavy applications as well as front-end applications.Experience with any of the batch job schedulers.
  • Knowledge of financial industry, Trade workflows related knowledge
  • Take ownership of the application, self-starter.
  • Proficient communication skills(written and verbal), ability to communicate with business teams and various other stakeholders
  • Ability to react quickly and handle high-stress situations in the financial industry.
  • Willing to provide off-hours support and weekend support on a rotation basis.
  • FX business knowledge preferred.
  • POC and need to act as the owner of application in production
  • Not a people leader role at this moment.
  • Not a Developer role
MUST HAVE:
  • Murex experience – 4 years
  • Unix experience – 4 years
  • SQL expe4ience – 4 years
  • Strong communication skills
NICE TO HAVE
  • Application/Production support experience – highly preferred
  • FX Business knowledge (Preferred)
  • ITRS Geneos(Preferred)
  • ITIL Process: Incident management, change management, problem management, release management, Knowledge management
  • ITRS Geneos(Preferred)
  • (ServiceNow) : Preferred
  • Autosys, Control-M, Tidal (Preferred any one of these)
  • SLA Management(Preferred)
