A person working in a team environment helping to ensure loans close as promised and on time. Customer expectations are to be exceeded throughout the loan process, enhancing the relationship of the Originator with both Clients and Referral Partners.

Must be Willing to Learn:

  • The process of underwriting mortgage approvals and pre-approvals
  • Gathering and reviewing mortgage documents
  • Assisting clients through the mortgage process
  • Updating and maintaining client files (including data entry)
  • Communication with clients, lenders, and referral sources (including updates throughout the process)
  • Managing multiple clients at once and meeting clients’ timelines
  • Managing and organizing the internal database system
  • Social media & marketing
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Approach work with professional conduct
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong typing and computer skills
  • High level of discretion required in dealing with confidential matters
  • Post-secondary education is an asset
  • Previous administrative experience is an asset
  • Experience in the following is considered an asset: Finance, Information Technology

This position is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension.

The job posting will remain open until March 28, 2021 at midnight or until a suitable applicant has been selected.

Contract length: 12 months

Salary: From $21.00 per hour
